The README contains some important information that will probably help you if you run into issues building the project on your own. There are currently packages being built so that the project can be released and installed easily by end-users.
If you would like to help please feel free to email the project admin (weisspe). He will be glad to add you to the project and get you connected.
This is the Verse GUI project ("versegui")
This project was registered on SourceForge.net on Apr 14, 2010, and is described by the project team as follows:
This program is written in Java. It primarily functions as a GUI that supplies a Bible verse (or cluster of verses) and an associated challenge as well as some features like journaling and customizable settings. As of right now the project requires you to compile the Java sourcecode yourself, but that will hopefully still change. The project is recovering for a long period of complete inactivity.
The license used by this project is the GNU GPl version 3 (or later at your discretion) with the exception that I, Peter Weiss, the creator, reserve the right to release future versions under a different license (including no license at all).
To join this project, please contact the project administrators of this project, as shown on the project summary page.
Source code for this project is available from the SVN repository.
This page is an edited version of the default project web page supplied by SourceForge.net.
If you are a web page developer interested in this project, please consider reaching out to the project admin (per the "Join this project" section, above) to offer your assistance. This would be greatly appreciated as the main developer has little web design talent (hence this page only being modified).
